The First Thing
I realize that I can go on and on with stories about reality and what is or is not real. As pertains to God, my belief system and your worldly associations I can only show you so much to try to convince some that God is more real than we are and the evidence is right in front of you. In front of you only if you open your minds to the reality that already exists, all around you. By all around you I mean what we are capable of actually seeing for ourselves whose mathematics may be hidden but whose reality is verifiable.
Start no further than your local park or the night sky that you can gaze upon. Then, understand that none of this is an accident. Were it an accident then it would not exist and we can verify this with photos of our nearest astronomical neighbors. Begin with life itself. Life allows us a limited time to understand that we rely on what this planet has that no other planet has to our knowledge, a variety of living animals, plants and oxygen. Then, again, look into the night sky. At what is visible and mark the fact that all that we see out there is dead. Dead in that it supports no life whatsoever. What may or not be taking place outside our purview is speculation only. It is not proven by the light spectrum’s emitted so far away. It is only an overblown hunch, a want-it-to-be hunch. Hunches do not make it so.
Yet, we have the knowledge that all other life on this planet lacks, and that knowledge is to speculate using our brains. Speculation is what opens the door to God but fewer by the generations use their brains to understand that all of this is not some grand accident lost to history and time. That a planet so abundant as Earth is a grand accident of interstellar forces. It is obviously not. Your very life is purposeful and that purpose, after long and difficult speculation, is sorted out to finally understand that there is a monumental mind behind all that we know and that this mind is also no accident
When it comes to belief it is not a thing of ignorance or an accident long ago. It is a living,breathing mind that is behind all that we know.This is what separates us from animals,the knowledge that there is much, much more than our own lives. It is time to understand that God is reality whereas, our lives hinge on an earthly unreality, in most cases. A human reality is our first measure of truth. Death is not the time to try to understand that life is about God, not Earth or space.
