Discourse
Forum Software
Over a couple of decades, maybe more, I began learning to install on my own servers the software that I use the most. When A.I. came around a couple of years ago I steered clear of it until I read enough to understand it as well as I could. A.I. opened up a new vista of possibilities for me so eventually I learned which were designed for tech and which for chatting. I am not a chatty individual so Chat GPT didn’t appeal. I am an amateur developer though so I went for the techy type of A.I. and it has paid off nicely and collected a few dollars from me also.
As of last Wednesday, I have opened a new website HERE. I call it, Tecputer so as to not try to fool anyone into thinking I am an expert. A.I. however is, so I teamed up with an A.I. called, “Windsurf,” and also use Copilot to formulate tutorials to install software. This was an effort by me to share what I love to do now: work with servers.I am in my late seventies so it made sense to keep my mind challenged and not become some ditzy ten o’clock alcoholic as so many my age do. I want no part of conceding my mind to anything other than learning.
As of today I have written, checked for viability, and published two new tutorials for installing both Ghost, a blogging software, and Discourse, a forum software which is what I built Tecpute on. I have no affiliation with any companies so it is purely my choice as to what I find works with the best results. If you have the time, drop by or join Tecpute. Use the tutorials and solve any problems right on Tecpute. If this isn’t a first it is close in line. Hope to see you there.
