Signs

If you have ever studied the bible or know those who do then you have most likely heard of the bible book, Revelations. A quite symbolic book that is not easy to comprehend but provides all of the factions, events, and societal woes of the end time. The trouble is, there are as many explanations of what Revelations tells us as there are minds who study the bible.

A more concise and easy to understand version was given us by Jesus in the book of Matthew chapter 24. In this Jesus tells what to watch for and is quite accurate to much of what we see today. Things such as: a godless generation, a generation full of self, a generation showing no love. Of course, it is up to you to decipher both the time and meaning but a study of scripture will help to narrow down what Jesus said in plain speech, unlike Revelations.

A study of the bible seems to many to be a heavy and cumbersome load. Perhaps to late in life to start or to busy to have time to study it. This is nonsense as the bible can be studied simply by opening it for fifteen minutes, or long enough to read a verse. Your choice, as to where you open it to. Each time you open it will be registered in a place you don’t think about enough. Pursuit of the book will eventually change the minds of those seeking truth. Listening to science tell you about the bible is listening to egos speaking. What God created science tries to understand, is the simple way to look at both the bible and, for that matter, science.

No, I am not denigrating science, only those who turn their noses up at those who follow it. Ego is a nasty thing if overinflated. Humility is a wonderful thing and a lesson the bible teaches all who read it. God looks out for the humble. Ego looks out for the self. Self is always alone.
