Knowledge

If we look around there are more avenues for gaining knowledge than we can wrap our arms around. Knowledge is considered the difference between ignorance and wisdom. If we can speak five languages we are considered extremely intelligent. If we have won a Nobel prize we are considered with wonder by the world and are sought after around that globe.

Where, in all of this, is God? Consider the poor, the uneducated, the downtrodden and those who haven’t a home. In these are the ones God looks out for. He isn’t looking at their residence on the planet He is looking at them in the eternal. If one of these puts God ahead of all their misery it is they who will find eternity in glory. It will likely not be the wealthy, the Nobel prize winners or the heads of nations or corporations. Our existence is not judged by what we have but by what we understand of God. “The meek shall inherit the Earth.” Meek also means belief in Jesus Christ as He is the mediator between us and God. In Him is judgement bestowed by His Father.

It is really a simple thing isn’t it. Believe in God with the whole of your mind and your presence on this Earth. In this way, and only this way, do we stand a chance of eternity with God. And, it is all invisible to us yet is there but we cannot see it as we are not allowed to see it. Our life lived is our ticket to eternity and it is never too late to ask forgiveness and turn one’s life around, until death takes us from this planet.
