The World

I got to thinking that before I went much further with this aim of mine, I should posit a few facts that are scriptural. We live in the world but the world, scripturally, does not mean the Earth. It means governments and nations that make up the human population. In other words, what we are citizens of. God has no part in this world and this should be rather obvious because if He did all would be at peace.

This is why the bible tells us through God’s word the bible that we should be no part of the world.WE should not be a office holder or one who depends on the wrold for wealth. As Jesus stated” For a rich man to get into Heaven is like passing a camel through the eye of a needle.” I’ve never tried this because it is either difficult or impossible. To follow, the bible tells us that it is the “meek” that shall inherit the Earth. Those without a voice in the world’s affairs who believe in Jesus as their savior.

Faith comes in at this point as it is faith alone that will see us through despite the slings and arrows of this world. This is the most difficult part of life there is. Remaining faithful when the world comes at us in all forms the world can manufacture. War, pestilence, famine, thirst, murder and war. Faith is not easy and it was not meant to be easy. To proclaim your love for God is one thing. To prove it is quite another. Having been on the side of a nation once in war I will tell you that faith is a struggle to maintain. Seeing the horror of human killing human is not easy but faith will see you through as there is more to life than just hanging in there. It is love of God that will strengthen you in all cases.
